(For Laker fans) The Lakers gave up 117 points to the Bobcats!!! Trade!!!?
I'm so tired of this bullshit with the Lakers. I wanted them to keep the team together but after that game, they need to trade some role players (and if they have to Lamar) to contend for a title. Theirs no doubt in my mind that they can beat San Antonio or New Orleans but if they keep playing D like that then the Rockets (if healthy) can beat them. This team ( no offense to other teams) has a chance to be a dynasty but they need better defense. The 80's Lakers didn't just have great offensive players, they also had defensive guys that hustled. Kupchak, Rambis, Coooooooop, Green, Harper, Fisher (still), Fox, Hunter, Lue, Walker, Horry, Madsen (we miss you Mark!) etc.have helped the Lakers in the 80's and early millenium win championships. I hope they make a trade for some tough guys because they won't win a championship with that soft D.
It shouldn't have gone to overtime.
The lakers just play down to teams. We were good defenively against the celts and cavs, and after the spurs beat us alst time they showed what they can do this last game against them. The lakers are waaaay too cocky. they need to step up for every game. but ill give it up to charlotte they played an excellent game. I was actually there at the staples center during the game (it was fun) and the bobcats looked good. no excuse for them to lose though. The lakers are doing a different defensive scheme this year and they tend to fall apart at times. yesterday the cats just knew how to get into the middle (horrible defense by bynum) I say let them go. We'll win it!
