Drone Aircraft Engines

A mysterious plane flying really low and silently.?
I'm not sure if these are related incidents, but they occurred about the same time last night. I went outside and smelled something burning. But not a fire place or a house. I am familiar with those odors. After about 10-15 minutes I began to hear sirens, emergency vehicles. I drove to see what was going on. I found there were several fire engines and an ambulance parked at the end of a cul-de-sac up the street from my house. I didn't want to get in the way so I went to the corner store and then drove home. On the way, I noticed a low flying aircraft, with a very wide wing span. There did not appear to be much of fuselage. It had red and blue lights along the wing and very bright white lights, like a flash on a camera that flashed off and on as it traveled over head. I read a while back about spy drone planes, that could fly around and spy on people. Is that what I saw tonight?
Any websites?
It's one of our Predators. You've been targeted as a potential threat. It's preparing to send you a Hellfire missile. Please hold still for the next thirty seconds. Let's not make this any harder than it has to be.

Robot Wars Robots
As man continues to go looking for answers so does the improvement of robots and other machineries. After all , humankind believes in achieving the very unlikely.

The use of androids in warfare has triggered some discussion among those who view robotic warfare as more cost-effective and practical as against humanists who assert that androids are not capable of making ethical warfare decision. One of this is whether of not to use brute force, or if these bots can be made capable of observing codes of conduct, honor and ethics amidst the violence, loss of life and other damage brought on by wars.
This is the reason why some gurus on robotics and application engineering have come up with an idea to program this robots to have some amount of'guilt' during war time.
Androids and the guidelines of war
As of this present time, software engineers are working on a program that will teach bots how to observe rules of engagement during a combatant warfare. There are also plans of programming a robot to'behave' while attacking an unapproved aircraft that has invaded the airspace, or how to correctly make a response to surrendering troops, etc .
Also, they're seeking ways for which drones or combatant robots will be able to recognize existing legislation and world rules. If successful, the rate of civilian casualties will be lessened. However , this continues to be studied by robotics professionals.
Such act has been highly criticized by some roboticist. Though many of them recognize that the employment of automated machines in future combats is inevitable, they push for further studies of how to improve the performance of automated bots.
While maintaining that bots are not certain to seek vengeance and don't get angry, robots don't have mercy or sympathy also.
That is why careful thought is being carried out before they're given more collusion in warfare.
Automated combatants do not eat, don't hide in fear, and will execute any mission plan without query. This makes it the ideal soldier.
Can these automated combatants differentiate a civilian from a soldier? What if an enemy disguises himself as a civilian? How will a robot reply to starving casualties of war-torn hamlets and countries? These are still some of warfare methods that's yet being resolved by the gurus.
